REMIOjapan has started!!!

A staff news!

We have been writing blog recently but I want to let you know that we have started selling Japanese Traditional Goods too!
Some of them are not quite finished… but, we understad that it is hard to understand Japanese culture and goods when you are a foreigner. So, we have tried to give you as much image as possible.
For example, we have took a movie of 360°　and image movie, also took a detail pictures, size information…etc.

TENPURA(天ぷら) ~Japanese Food~

Today, I would like to introduce you one of a typical Japanese food, TENPURA(天ぷら）!

To explain it simply, it is “fried vegetables and fish” in a way…
Shrimps and prawns are very typical TENOURA.
Potatoes, mushrooms, pumpkins, sweat potatoes… and so on!
In your house, you can chose as you like.
I will write down the receipt in the future 🙂



It’s goooooood!!!!
Normally you eat them with Japanese sauce but if you eat in a professional restaurant, you can eat only with salts.
It emphasize the taste of the food!

今日（きょう）は日本（にほん）の伝統的（でんとうてき）な料理（りょうり）、天（てん）ぷらをご紹介（しょうかい）します。

どのようなものか簡単（かんたん）に説明（せつめい）すると、「揚（あ）げた野菜（やさい）と魚（さかな）」です。
エビは天（てん）ぷらの王道（おうどう）。
その他（ほか）に、じゃがいも、きのこ、かぼちゃ、さつまいもなどなど。
家庭（かてい）ではその他（ほか）好（す）きなものを入（い）れます。
今度（こんど）、レシピを載（の）せますね。

とってもおいしいです！
通常（つうじょう）、めんつゆで食（た）べますが、本格的（ほんかくてき）なレストランでは塩（しお）のみで食（た）べます。具材（ぐざい）の味（あじ）が強調（きょうちょう）されておいしいです。

今日（きょう）は、彼女（かのじょ）のもう一匹（いっぴき）の猫（ねこ）、CHIBI（日本語（にほんご）で「小（ちい）さい」という意味（いみ）です）を紹介（しょうかい）したいと思（おも）います。

CHAMIとは異（こと）なり、とても元気（げんき）な女（おんな）の子（こ）です。

Japanese Restaurants are expensive??? True or False?

Question : Do you think that Japanese Restaurants are expensive?

Let’s see…

This is the YAKINIKU I went to the other day.
With two of us, we ordered upper two.
1,000yen x 2 = 2,000yen

If there aren’t enough food, it is expensive…

Buffet included…
soup, salad, meat, veggies…

Meat for two people.

With a nice service!!!
(Since I am pregnant, the waitress brought a cushion for me.)

So, what do you think?

質問（しつもん）：　日本（にほん）のレストランは値段（ねだん）が高（たか）いでしょうか？

それでは、みてみましょう。。。

この間（あいだ）行（い）った焼き肉（やきにく）屋（や）さんで検証（けんしょう）してみましょう。
2人（ふたり）で行（い）き、メニューの上（うえ）にある二つ（ふたつ）を頼（たの）みました。
1000円（せんえん）　x 2 = 2000円（にせんえん）

もし、量（りょう）が少（すく）なければ高（たか）いですね。

ビュッフェ付（つ）きです。
スープ、サラダ、お肉（にく）に野菜（やさい）・・・

それに二人分（ふたりぶん）のお肉（にく）

とっても素敵（すてき）なサービス付（つ）き！
（私（わたし）が妊婦（にんぷ）なので、ウェイトレスさんがクッションを持（も）ってきてくれました）

Japanese curry is not the same as Indian curry!

Did you know that there is such a thing as “Japanese curry”???

Yes there is!

If you know Indian curry, you might imagine sweating and eating hot hot hot curry but Japanese curry is normally much milder.
And it is said that there is a “Mother’s taste” in every family.

This is my “mother’s taste”!

本当（ほんとう）にあるんです！

インドカレーをご存知（ぞんじ）の方（かた）は、汗（あせ）をかきながら食（た）べるとっっても辛（から）いカレーだと思（おも）いますが、
日本（にほん）のカレーはそこまで辛（）くありません。
各家庭（かくかてい）に「母（はは）の味（あじ）」があります。

これは私（わたし）の「母（はは）の味（あじ）」です！
とってもおいしいですよ！

Shinkansen(新幹線） -Japanese TGV- !

Do you know Shinkansen(新幹線）?
It is a train which goes from west to east and south to north of Japan
Very fast, and the look is stylish too!

The seats are a bit bigger than as in the plane.
Very clean, very quiet.
It is a bit expensive compare to TGV in France but, is very comfortable.

If you are a foreigner who is planning to travel all over Japan, I recommend you buy a JAPAN RAIL PASS.
You get to chose 7day pass, 14day pass or 21 day pass for a quite reasonable price.

Have a luxury travel!

新幹線（しんかんせん）を知（し）っていますか？
日本（にほん）を東西南北（とうざいなんぼく）にかけて走（はし）る電車（でんしゃ）です。
とても早（はや）く、見（み）た目（め）もかっこいいです。

座席（ざせき）は飛行機（ひこうき）より広（ひろ）く、とてもきれいで、とても静（しず）かです。
値段（ねだん）はフランスのTGVに比（くら）べると少（すこ）し高（たか）いですが、とても心地（ここち）よいです。

もし、あなたが外国人（がいこくじん）で日本（にほん）に旅行（りょこう）に来（く）る予定（よてい）なら、JAPAN RAIL PASSをおすすめします。

MIO went to Interview KABAZAIKU-shokunin(Artist of Cherry Bark)

REMIOjapan staff, MIO, went ot interview the KABAZAIKU-shokunin(Artist of Cherry Bark).
KABAZAIKU-shokunin(Artist of Cherry Bark), Mr.Yonezawa was young but very cool!
I am editing a movie now(translating into English!), and when I’m done, I will upload here.
